Food For Thought

So if you can’t tell already, I love quotes! Yesterday was all about the literal food and good eats, and today is going to be about the mental food–the thoughts we have that influence the way interpret and interact with the world around us. I have made up a list of 10 (although there are so many more) quotes that stand out to me and I would like to share with you on this sunny summer Thursday!


1.) Life is all about the decisions we make, so make the right one.


2.) There may be a lot wrong with the world today, but don’t lose faith because you have the opportunity to change the world and make it a better place.


3.) Life is beautiful. Do not get caught up in the busyness of life and let it obscure your view.


4.) A.L.W.A.Y.S.


5.) We learn from our mistakes and they make us better people–we are not defined by our failures.


6.) Live your life to the fullest-use your talents, intelligence, and whole heart each and every day.


7.) Life is not about creating the perfect “image” or focusing on what others think of you. You must be true to who you are and focus on the inside, which will then translate to the outside.Image

8.) Be nice to everyone you meet for you do not know what kind of day they are having. You might just be the person who says the right thing to brighten their bad day or give them the assurance they need that life goes on. You also do not want to be the person to damper someone else’s day, so celebrate their good news with them.


9.) This blew my mind when I first saw this quote because it is SO TRUE!


10.) THIS one is one of my favorites. You can change the world! All you need is to believe you can and you will. I strongly stand by this quote..and I too am a little crazy hoping to change the world 😉

I hope at least one of these quotes makes you think about how you are living your life and what you can do to make it better. I know many obstacles take over our lives and it can sometimes be hard to find the good, but if you look close enough…you will see it. 🙂
