After yesterday’s wordy, somewhat lengthy, and controversial post (that was respectfully requested to be taken down), today is going to be short and sweet with lots of pictures!

With this hot weather overtaking 43 states (YES, 43!), make sure you stay hydrated and watch out for others. It is especially important to check up on any pets you may have or elderly neighbors because they are the ones that become very vulnerable in this heat. Remember to stay cool by going indoors or in the shade if you can during the middle of the day when it is the hottest.
I love being outdoors and enjoying this summer weather by running or walking through the neighborhoods, but this week it is TOO HOT for all of that–like Filipino hot! So I am spending time indoors cleaning my room (a summer goal), working in the office, or reading a good book.
Let’s get right to the celebration of good eats!
steel cut oats, almond milk, berries, peanut butter, and whey protein powder
Corn Chex, greek yogurt, almond milk, berries, bananas, granola, pecans, and cashews
Greek yogurt with granola, egg white scramble, and grapefruit
veggies, crackers, and hummus
fruit and greek yogurt
veggie-filled salad with balsamic and feta on top
Greek chicken pita with veggies and a pickle
hamberger on the grill, avocado toss salad, and sweet pickles
Meatloaf sandwich on cranberry bread (delicious!) with tomatoes and edamame
