Hey Buffalonians! Looking to get out and enjoy this beautiful city we live in this summer? I got just the place…
Larkin Square! Larkin Square is a popular gem located in the Larkin District that has everything from food trucks to entertainment to indoor and outdoor dining and much more. When I first arrived, I noticed the colorful and comfortable seating areas and beautiful bright flowers that adorned the whole place. Immediately I was drawn into a huge crowd that surrounded a stage with a band playing and people dancing and clapping along. There was an aroma of food that filled the air and when looking around it was apparent that it was coming from the outdoor grill and food trucks on the other side of the event area. In only five minutes of being in Larkin Square, I knew it was going to be a good night….
I went to Larkin Square for the first time to check out the Live at Larkin concert series that they have every Wednesday night. Last night was Around the World in 180 Minutes with music from Critt’s Juke Joint, Hot Club of Buffalo, Skiffle Minstrels, and Slyboots and Drum Dance. I am going to let the pictures do the talking and convince you to come down 🙂
Along with entertainment, the Marketplace was open where vendors were set up for event guests to have some food, drinks, shopping, and fun!
