It’s SuperBowl SUNDAY! The day where everyone claims to be a sports expert, and healthy New Year’s resolutions are set aside. I am not a big football fan, but I do enjoy getting together with family and friends to celebrate. I always enjoy watching the ads and the famous half time show. Did you know a 30 second spot this year costs $4.5 Million? HOLY COW! Here are links to some of my favorites…
2.) The Dober-WHAT? (I’m a little terrified haha..)
It’s also February 2nd and I can already tell this month is going to be a lot of fun and going to go by super fast! Already, I have gotten great news. Just the other day I received an email from Fit Approach to be one of their NEWEST SWEAT PINK AMBASSADORS! Fit Approach is a healthy community with a supportive group of people, including everyone from ultra marathoners to couch potatoes, sharing experiences with health and fitness.
I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful community. Health and fitness is a part of my daily life, and sharing my experiences with others is such a blessing.
Now for the main post– Some Fashion February 🙂
Ladies, if you’re like me, you often wake up in the morning and stare at your closet FILLED with clothes and think to yourself, “I have nothing to wear.” A closet stacked is overwhelming and looking at the pieces we wear over and over again can get old. I can speak from personal experience that being a college student and trying to keep up with the latest trends can really break the bank.
So what do you do? How do you make your wardrobe affordable and versatile enough to go from casual and comfortable to glitzy and glamorous?
Well, I’ve come up with what I believe to be three of the essential pieces to have in your closet, which can work in multiple ways. Drum roll please…
Number 1– the scarf! Scarves can work a bunch of different ways from casual to dressy. They can work in layers over a top and a sweater, or alone over a dress. How great is it that there are so many choices for this one piece??!!
Number 2– the blazer! No longer is the blazer just a business piece or known for work interviews. Now it has become a fashion symbol that ladies everywhere are wearing. Again, casual to dressed up, the blazer can work the whole spectrum.
Number 3– the black dress! I am a huge black and white fanatic when it comes to my wardrobe. I think the mix of the colors is really classy. With that being said, the little black dress can be a daytime and/or nighttime look. You could wear it over leggings during the day and along with some pumps and a clutch at night if you’re going out. Why not mix two pieces? The black dress can even go under a blazer for a more formal occasion.
Those are just three of the many pieces that work in a variety of ways and are great to have in your closet.
