The Power of Positivity

Sharing my random thoughts this Thursday….Thanks Amanda for hosting!

So…you’re having a bad day…you woke up late because the alarm never went off, ran out the door to work, skipped breakfast, forgot your phone at home, you’re flooded with things to do and nothing seems to be going right…but then someone tells you that you have a beautiful smile and it makes others smile even bigger. You suddenly feel better, and that one comment helped you see you can get through this day.

This is just a made up scenario, but I think all of us can think back to a bad day we recently had. Did someone ever give you a compliment or lend a helping hand when you weren’t feeling your best? How did it feel??!!

The power of positivity is simple- it can turn someone’s bad day into a good one.

The simplicity of a smile or even an exchange of words has such a huge effect when others are feeling down. You never know what kind of day someone is having, so it is important to ALWAYS be nice and spread kind words to those around you. One small comment of positivity can change someone’s day.

What are you doing TODAY to make someone’s day positive?

This is excellent to remember. We end up making our own happiness and we can turn a not so great day into a great day with a tweak of attitude. Love it!
